Hi! I am an intellectual property law researcher and Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Newcastle in Australia. In my research I analyse controversies involving copyright. For example, whether copying a cultural motif, painting style or traditional style of tattoo art infringes copyright law. I love exploring what law means in everyday life. In particular what people think law is and what they expect it to do for them, in the context of thorny cultural and social issues.
